Time Out! owner Rich Havens merges eight years in the hotel~resort industry with 24 seasons in the field of triathlon~cycling in creating three to five-day cycling vacation tours. Daily ride distances between 25 and 50 miles. Go long for the full distance. Go short for half of it; and we’ll transport you to our overnight destination where you can enjoy the afternoon in total relaxation. Our first Tour circumnavigates 210 miles of Cape Cod. • Looking ahead to 2009: New England favorite the Fairlee Great Triathlon conducted since 1985 from Lake Morey in beautiful Fairlee, Vermont may well see a comeback. Also on the sketch board is a new race on Cape Cod in Sandwich...and, possibly, Boston.
• A fond farewell: sadly, due to circumstances beyond our control, after 20 great seasons our Massachusetts Triathlon in Sharon no longer will be.

Economic times are difficult; and for many families struggling to make ends meet, community food pantry programs can be life savers! Following the events of 9-11, Time Out! owner Rich Havens carried on his parent’s wish to give back to their town of Sandwich by creating a unique 3.1-mile Thanksgiving day run~walk
to raise groceries for the Sandwich Food Pantry and affiliated pantries on upper Cape Cod. The inaugural 2001 event attracted 801 people, setting a benchmark for 2007 and a record field of 1,437 who contributed 1,720 grocery bags (nearly 35,000 groceries).
