Are you a "First Timer"?

Welcome
The fact you are reading this page suggests that somewhere along the line you at least thought about doing a triathlon. Perhaps to expand your fitness potential. Or to 'taste' a bit of what those 'Ironman' folks experience out on the lava fields of Hawaii. Chances are you already possess at least a 'smidgen' of swimming or biking or running ability. With a little play (note I did not say 'work'), during this summer, you should be able to complete your first mini-triathlon. These pages are geared to help you be prepared mentally to make 2010 your first year of racing in a triathlon. So, read on!

NOTE: At Time Out! Productions races, the First-Timer category applies to athletes who are making the current calendar year their very first in triathlon competition anywhere on the planet. You can race 10 times during the year and you’ll still be a First-Year athlete if this is your first year racing anywhere. It DOES NOT apply to persons who raced in previous years but are doing a particular race for the first time.

"Time Out races are so well organized. I just did another race and I could not believe the difference. Everything that is done at these [Time Out!] races really adds to your performance..."
