The 26th Sprint 1 and 16th Sprint 2 triathlons
start-and-end the season
fast on Cape
Cod. The Sprint 1 is the longest-established (26th annual)
triathlon at beautiful Craigsville Beach! The Sprint 1 and
2 triathlons are ideal for athletes of every ability...First-Year
to Elite-Pro! A 1/4-mile ocean swim. A scenic, rolling 10-mile
bike loop through historic Centerville and Osterville. A
flat 3.5-mile run through the quiet neighborhoods of Centerville
village. Only a 90-minute drive from Boston.
Field Limit at Swim Start: 850.

7:00am at Craigville Beach on Craigville Beach Road in
Centerville (village of Hyannis)

WHERE |
From Boston: At the Route 3/Route 128 split
in Braintree: Route 3 South, 42 miles to/over the
Sagamore Bridge. Take Route 6 East (Mid-Cape Highway)
to Exit 6 for Route 132 towards Hyannis. On the ramp,
take the road to the right (at Craigville Motel) marked
‘Craigville Beach’, which brings you to Shoot Flying Hill
Road. Turn right on Shoot Flying and follow the brown
signs depicting a swimmer on water. Shoot Flying ends
two miles ahead, just after going through a stop sign (head
for the tall water tower). Turn left onto Old Stage
Road. Just ahead, cross through the traffic light
for Rte 28 (Mobil gas on the right) continuing on Old Stage.
Old Stage becomes Main Street at first stop sign...go straight
at the stop about a mile to and through the Centerville
Four Corners traffic light (at Centerville Corners Motor
Lodge). Pass through the light onto Craigville Beach
Road ...beach is a half-mile down on the right. About
1-3/4 hours from Boston.

FEATURES |
The Tour’s longest-running
race. Nestled along the Atlantic shores on Cape Cod’s
most famous beach, Craigville. A popular 2-race package,
as Sprint 1 has been known to close out in April and Sprint
2 in late-July or early August. Field limit at swim
start: 850.

1/4-mile swim:
refreshing Atlantic Ocean setting with a close-to-shore,
rectangular design.

10-mile bike:
scenic and lightly-rolling loop through Historic Osterville
and Centerville. Incredible ocean vistas!

3.5-mile run:
a flat and scenic lollipop out-and-back within Craigville
Village.

PARKING |
At Craigville Beach on first-come, first-parked basis.
Private lots across from Craigville and along Craigville
Beach Road may charge lot fees. Also,
facing the beach, look left for about 1/4-mile for lots
at Association Beach and Covell’s Beach. Do not park
along Craigville Beach Road (posted no parking...this is
the race course). Expect long lines race morning after
6:00am!!!
