24th New England Triathlon Tour

Tropical Storm Hannah and Hyannis Sprint 2 Triathlon Updating Our Previous Announcement...

We are all watching the progress of Hanna. As of 7:00am on Friday, September 5, we are still planning to conduct the race. Most forecasts call for the heaviest remnants of the storm to reach the New England area during the evening hours on Saturday with rain probable during the race. Since this type of storm is tough to predict, keep posted to our website right up until the time you leave for Hyannis either Friday or Saturday. Should conditions change which causes us to re-think our decision to conduct the race for safety reasons (meaning: postpone to a date in 2009), we will post such to our site.

We will also post advisories to our 508-224-3601 Race Hotline.

For those in the race and wishing to verify race details, on our website click Race Essentials...read the sub-links contained within...especially Critical Race Details/ Hyannis Sprint 1 & 2 Triathlons.

Stay tuned to our Time Out! Productions website for updated news about tour inaugural 4-day, 210-mile New England Bike Tours-Cape Cod get-away originally envisioned for this coming September. Our mission is to present our guests with a most amazing, simply unforgettable cycling vacation experience...and to do so we may need additional planning time which would necessitate moving our staging dates.

For first-time visitors to our website, 'leisure' will be the word for the New England Bike Tours. Time Out! owner Rich Havens merges eight years in the hotel~resort industry with 24 seasons in the field of triathlon~cycling in creating three to five-day cycling vacation trips. Enjoy the many New England splendors as you experience them atop your bike saddle! Quaint and cozy resorts and inns...wonderful meals...guided rides...free-time activities...amenities and so much more. Daily ride distances between 25 and 50 miles. Go long for the full distance. Go short for half of it; and we’ll transport you to our overnight destination where you can enjoy the afternoon in total relaxation. Now that's a vacation!

Economic times are difficult; and for many families struggling to make ends meet, community food pantry programs can be life savers! Following the events of 9-11, Time Out! owner Rich Havens carried on his parent’s wish to give back to their town of Sandwich by creating a unique 3.1-mile Thanksgiving day run~walk
to raise groceries for the Sandwich Food Pantry and affiliated pantries on upper Cape Cod. The inaugural 2001 event attracted 801 people, setting a benchmark for 2007 and a record field of 1,437 who contributed 1,720 grocery bags (nearly 35,000 groceries). Go to www.timeoutproductions.com after July 15 for 5K details and entry form.

"I have finally fully recovered from the Falmouth Sprint Triathlon and an opportunity to write.  I want to let you know that you put on a fantastic race, everything from the pleasant volunteers, the organizational structure of the transition, and making the race spectator friendly, (my wife truly appreciates it!)

In addition, if you would like to take credit for the beautiful summer weather I will give you that because you and your company deserve a great deal of thanks for the wonderful job you do.  Suffice to say, I have been doing your races for years and plan on continuing to make the trip from New York to the Cape for your races.

Keep up the great work!
